Musician Fats Domino, who changed the face of music throughout the Fifties and Sixties, died peacefully October 25th at the age of 89, his family confirmed.
Domino is credited with being one of the most important musical figures to break down racial barriers in the Fifties, becoming a sensation at a time in which black voices were almost entirely absent from US radio. He also served as an inspiration for countless musicians, from The Beatles to Elton John.
